Welcome to Monroe Central Jr./Sr. High School!

Welcome Back Bear Nation to the 2023-24 School Year.  Check back for more information as the school year gets closer. 

Again, this year we are offering an easy, quick way to register your child through our online format.  Registration forms are now available in the PowerSchool Parent Portal and can be filled out at your earliest convenience.  While you should be able to fulfill all of the necessary components of registration through the online portal, we will have an onsite registration day on Thursday, July 27, 2023 from 12:00-6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria to assist families with the registration process as needed.  You can also call our office at 765-468-7545 should you need any help as well.  Please note that our office staff will not be available from Monday, June 26 thru Friday, July 21.  They will return on Monday, July 24, 2023.  All of your registration resources are located on our website at https://www.monroecentral.org/registration-jr-sr-high-school/.  You will select the Jr.-Sr. HS tab and then find Jr.-Sr. HS Registration under the Student Services menu.  The following services are available through the registration process: updating demographic information and updating medical information.  Additional forms, including free or reduced lunch/textbook rental and out of district application (for out of district students only), are also available online.  We encourage parents who feel they may qualify for free or reduced assistance for textbook rental and/or lunch to fill out the application form as it is required each year.  Some people are reluctant to want to do this, but it really helps the school when students who qualify complete the forms.  If you have any questions regarding this, feel free to contact me.  Any hard copy forms can be returned to us during our normal business hours, mailed to us at MCHS Registration, 1878 N 1000 W, Parker City, IN 47368, or sent with your child on the first day of school.  We will also send home hard copy forms to students that we haven’t collected them from already during the first week of school.  If you have questions regarding registration, you can contact our registrar, Elizabeth Swift by email at elizabeths@monroecentral.org or call 765-468-7545 ext #3332.  Mrs. Swift will be available during the same days as indicated above.  If you have high school scheduling questions, please contact our high school counselor, Sharla Moran, by email at sharlam@monroecentral.org or call 765-468-7545 ext #3331.  If you have any junior high scheduling questions, please contact our junior high counselor, Amanda Greer, by email at amandag@monroecentral.org or call 765-468-7545 ext #3119.

NEW STUDENT ENROLLMENT INFORMATION!!!!!

If you know of any new students wishing to register for the 2023-24 school year please have them contact Elizabeth Swift at 765-468-7545 #3332 or at elizabeths@monroecentral.org to schedule an enrollment appointment as soon as possible.  This will greatly speed up the registration process for all students.

The first day of school for students is set for Wednesday, August 9, 2023 with first period beginning at 8:05 a.m.  Please feel free to contact us anytime with questions at 765-468-7545.  We hope you enjoy the remainder of the summer and are looking forward to return to school on August 9th.
